Reseal and recoat
Sealer wears. Once it is gone, the concrete is open and stains go in rather than sitting on top. A reseal at the right time keeps a floor close to new for decades.
What you see. Colour depth and sheen come back. Traffic lanes largely even out.
Where it suits. Any honed or polished floor - ours or someone else's - and grind and seal floors due for a recoat.
What to know. A reseal does not remove scratches, fill new holes or change the exposure. Those need grinding, which is a different job. If your floor needs more than a reseal, we say so before we start.

How it runs
- 1
Check
Send photos and the result of a water test. If the floor is not due, we tell you to leave it.
- 2
Clean
A pH-neutral deep clean to lift old cleaning residue so the new sealer can bond.
- 3
Seal
Sealer flooded on, left to dwell, then the excess wiped back before it dries.
- 4
Burnish
Works the sealer in and lifts the sheen.
Time on site. One day for a penetrating-sealed floor on a typical house. Two days for a coated floor.
Price. Quoted per job from photos. Most houses are a single day.
Questions
How do I know if my floor needs resealing?
Put a few drops of water in a busy spot and wait two minutes. If it beads, you are fine. If it spreads, book a reseal in the next six to twelve months. If it soaks in and darkens the concrete, reseal now.
Do you reseal floors someone else polished?
Yes. Tell us what you know about the original finish and sealer - photos help.
How long before I can walk on it?
Foot traffic after 24 hours. Keep it dry for 72 hours and leave furniture and rugs off for 48.
