The floor is the product.
Honed_By polishes and hones concrete floors on the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Noosa. Houses, renovations, the outdoor areas around them, and the benches, seats and planters in them.
Polished concrete is judged by looking at it. So we specify every finish by what you will see - how much it shines and how much stone it shows - and we agree it on your own slab before the job starts.
The underscore in the name is a blank. Honed by hand, honed by us, honed to 1500 grit. Every floor fills it in a different way.

How we work
Say the number, not the adjective
Polished to 1500 grit, 217 square metres, six days on site. A finish you can measure is a finish you can hold us to.
Agree the floor before we grind it
The first step of every job is a sample area on your own slab, signed off by you before we do the rest. Disputes on polished concrete come from two people picturing different floors.
Tell you what concrete does
Small holes, placement marks and fine cracks are characteristics of ground concrete. You hear about them in the quote, not after the job.
Turn up when the slab is ready
Builders choose a polisher on programming. We plan the job around yours and finish in the window we gave you.
Control the dust
Concrete dust contains silica. We grind with extraction connected, and the crew is trained and fitted for the right respiratory protection.
Tell us about the slab.
Still at plans stage, slab poured, or a floor that is already down - send what you have. Plans, photos or a rough area. We come back with what the slab can do and a day count.
